As Japan has its own professional bicycle racing sport, wheelchair racing, modeled after bicycle racing, was created to allow athletes from Japan and around the world to compete against each other, and to create a stage where athletes from Japan and the world can take pride, drama, romance, and potential as professional wheelchair racers and earn prize money. To create a stage where athletes in Japan and around the world can be proud to be a professional wheelchair racer, embrace drama, romance and potential, and earn prize money. Our challenge is to be a bridge that gives professional athletes realistic dreams and hopes. The proceeds will be used as a financial resource for projects that will lead to social welfare facilities, the enhancement of living conditions and education for children around the world, and the promotion of culture and sports.
